OKX Card - PIN FAQ

What is the Card PIN used for?

Your Card PIN is used for in-store purchases when a merchant or payment terminal asks you to enter a PIN.

Is a PIN required for every payment?

Not every payment requires a PIN. Some terminals request a PIN even when a virtual card is used through Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Where can I set or change my PIN?

Pay → Card widget → Card Management → Manage PIN.

What rules must my PIN follow?

Your PIN must:

  • Not be a repeated number (for example, 0000, 1111)

  • Match the required PIN length for your card

  • Not be based on your date of birth

  • Not match the last 4 digits of your card number

  • Not include any part of your phone number

What if I forget my PIN?

Yes. You can change your PIN at any time in the OKX app via the Manage PIN option on the OKX Card page.
