What is the OKX Card?
What is the OKX Card?
The OKX Card is a virtual Mastercard charge card which is issued by Webbank, designed for OKX users who hold stablecoins and want to spend against their crypto without having to sell it. Your stablecoins stay in your account as collateral while you spend. Depending on your repayment method, you may be able to hold your crypto and pay in USD instead.
Is this a debit card or a credit card?
It is a secured charge card — meaning your stablecoin balance acts as collateral backing your spending. As a charge card, your full statement balance is due with each billing cycle rather than carried forward.
Is there a physical card?
No. The OKX Card is virtual-only at launch. You can add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay for in-store and online purchases.
What's OKX Pay and how does it work with the OKX Card?
OKX Pay is a digital dollar account built into the OKX app. Your US OKX Card is linked to your Pay account, where supported stablecoins—USDC, USDT, and USDG—are held as collateral for card purchases.
When a purchase is authorized, the required stablecoins are reserved in Pay as collateral.
You need an active Pay account to use the card. Your Pay Wallet is provided by OKX, while your US OKX Card is issued by WebBank.
Which stablecoins can I use?
You need a balance of USDC, USDT, or USDG in your OKX Pay account and must authorize the supported stablecoins for card use.
What interest and fees apply?
The OKX Card charges 0% interest and carries no APR. Because the OKX Card is a charge card rather than a revolving credit card, interest does not accrue on your balance.
There are no annual, purchase, foreign transaction, late payment, or returned payment fees in the Cardholder Agreement.
Where can I use the card?
You can use the OKX Card for eligible purchases at merchants that accept Mastercard contactless (tap to pay), subject to sufficient available credit, purchase restrictions and security checks. It is a virtual card, so it is compatible with Apple Pay and Google Pay for contactless purchases in stores and for online checkout. ATM withdrawals, cash advances and cash equivalents are not supported.
OKX Card in the U.S. is issued by WebBank, a Utah State-Chartered Bank, Salt Lake City, Utah.
